HiLex !

HiLex is an acronym for the 'Hindi Lexical Proficiency Test'. It's a tool designed for cognitive researchers who want to study participants with Hindi as either their native or non-native language in an experimental setting. It uses a visual lexical decision task that's not timed to estimate an individual's Hindi vocabulary. By taking the test, participants can obtain an estimate of their Hindi vocabulary in just 5 minutes.

On average, the HiLex takes about 5 mins. to complete. It comprises only 90 items, making it a practically feasible addition to any psycholinguistic experiment.
