Honesty policy

Do not claim for yourself work that belongs to others. In other words do not cheat. It is far more important to be honest than to get a better grade through dishonest means.

You are free to discuss problems, programming assignments with anyone, refer to any sources but please finally do the assignments on your own. If you received help from a person/s or some other source/s please acknowledge it in your writeup/code.

We trust you and do not want to waste our time policing and trying to identify instances of copying and cheating. However, if it happens that there is evidence beyond reasonable doubt that someone has used dishonest means then that person will be given a failing grade in the course. In addition the case may be referred to the institute disciplinary committee SSAC.
