Perception Action Cognition Lab
Greetings! I am an associate professor in the Department of Cognitive Science at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. Our lab investigates the cognitive processes of perception and action, how they are linked with each other, and how this interaction influences our experience of events occurring in the environment. Some of the questions we look at include:
- How do we see our bodies and move around in the surroundings?
- How do we perceive emotions and how is it mediated by presence of others around?
- How intentional actions influence our experiences?
- How online control of actions influence perception and awareness of actions?
If you want to know more about my work visit my personal page at the bottom.
Check out our lab page for a list of members, their research interest and any open RA/Project positions for IIT Kanpur students and for outside students.
