MS IN COGNITIVE SCIENCE


Prospective candidates interested in the MS program are required to take the GATE/ CSIR/ JRF/ NET/other equivalent exam in related disciplines.

We solicit applications to our MS program from curious and creative individuals satisfying any one of the following requirements.


Eligibility Criteria -


The minimum educational qualifications for admission to the MS 3-year program are:

  • An applicant must have a valid score/qualification in GATE/ CSIR/ JRF/ NET/other equivalent exam. Applicants from IITs with a grade point average of 8.0/10 (or equivalent) and those with an MBBS degree are exempted from the GATE/ CSIR/ JRF/ NET requirement.
  • 3-year BA/B.Sc/equivalent degree in (Psychology/ Linguistics/ Philosophy/ Anthropology/ Phy/ Chem/ Math/ Stat/ Biosciences/ CS/ related disciplines) with a minimum of 60% or 6.0/10 in the qualifying degree.

The minimum educational and other qualifications for admission to the MS 2-year program are:

  • B.Tech/BE (any branch), BS - 4year program (Physics/ Chem/ Math/ Stat/Biosciences/ related sciences), MBBS. An applicant must have a minimum of 60% or 6.0/10 in the qualifying degree. All regular applicants must have a valid score/qualification in GATE/ CSIR/ JRF/ NET/other equivalent exam. Applicants with B.Tech from IITs with an overall grade point average of 6.5/10 or higher and 8.0/10.0 in the last two years and those with an MBBS degree are exempted from the GATE/ CSIR/ JRF/ NET requirement.
  • MA/M.Sc/equivalent degree (Psychology/ Linguistics/ Philosophy/ Anthropology/ Phy/ Chem/ Math/ Stat/ Biosciences/ CS/ related disciplines) with a minimum of 60% or 6.0/10 (grade point average) in the qualifying degree. An applicant must have a valid score/qualification in GATE/ CSIR/ JRF/ NET/other equivalent exam. Applicants from IITs with a grade point average of 8.0/10 (or equivalent) and those with an MBBS degree are exempted from the GATE/ CSIR/ JRF/ NET requirement.
